The shape
A broad face and rounded contours are the proposed starting point. The contact edge must be carefully polished and checked on physical samples.
The material
316L stainless steel is our preferred sampling direction. Corrosion resistance does not mean scratch-proof, sterile or nickel-free; production specifications remain to be confirmed.
The intended use
An optional tool-assisted care approach, informed by traditional channel and qi–blood vocabulary. Technique, suitability and evidence are explained in the guide; body work needs trained guidance.
Choose with understanding
Is this the right
kind of object for you?
Start with the tool’s purpose, your skin and your circumstances. A symptom or a calendar date is not enough to choose a treatment.
Read the care & tools guideGentle care needs limits
Do not use over broken, inflamed or sunburned skin. Stop if it hurts; bruising is not a goal for this personal-care concept.
Check before trying
If you take blood thinners, bruise easily, have a skin condition or another relevant health concern, seek qualified advice first. Body gua sha should be discussed with a trained provider.
General suitability context: Cleveland Clinic, “Gua Sha: Benefits and How To Do It.” These notes are not a product-specific technique or a substitute for final reviewed instructions.
